Our home health aides can come out anywhere from daily to weekly based on the selected plan.

Who will be visiting my house? Will I have the same person every time?

Only Rest Assured employees or recommended health care providers will enter your home with your advanced permission only. Your physician and therapists will remain consistent throughout. Every effort will be made to ensure that the home health aides stay consistent as well. Rest Assured strives to maintain continuity of care, however we reserve the right to alternate our staff in the event there are unforeseen circumstances (illness, family illness, car trouble, etc)

Our packages are pre-paid on a monthly basis. We will accommodate your travel plans or availability by scheduling your in-home visits when you are available.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my visit?

We will always encourage you to keep your scheduled visits but we do understand that things may come up and you might become unavailable. We will work with each client to ensure that all visits are received as appropriate.

Why can't I use my insurance?

We are a private pay service provider that is above and beyond what your insurance covers in the home. Your insurance may cover home health services but your visits are limited to specific occurances and will only be covered for a short time. The services we provide may be used in conjunction with your covered services or may be used after your insurance paid visits are up.

Does the price change for singles vs. couples?

There is a price break for couples. You are able to save a little up front on the monthly plans because the evaluating therapists can do both assessments in one visit. However our plans are individualized and our physician will see you both separately to give each client adequate attention and our home health aides will do the same also.

Yes you can. Just let us know before the end of the month and your next month's services will be adjusted and your bill will reflect the increase or decrease.

Yes you can. If you pay for a full year's service, you get one month for free. Eleven months for the price of twelve.

No. We will bring all needed therapy equipment for our in-home sessions but you may choose to purchase some things so that you may continue your programs on your own.

What happens if I go into the hospital or want to discontinue my service?

Hospitalizations are usually unforeseen trips so depending on how many visits you have received during the month, we may be able to pro-rate if for you. If you want to discontinue services, just let us know prior to the month's end and you will not be billed for the next month.

Are your aides licensed and bonded?

Yes they are. We have a company insurance policy to cover all employees.

Who determines whether I seek care from my primary care physician (PCP) or from Rest Assured's physician?

It depends on the severity of your needs. We can help in that decision making process. If you have an emergency, contact 911 or your PCP. Our medical director will be able to contact your PCP as well. If you need hospital services that are covered by your insurance, our physician will most likely defer your care to your PCP. If it is a non-emergency situation that can be addressed at in in-home visit, we can help.

What if I get sick? Will I have to go to the hospital to get labs, tests, etc?

Our goal is to provide preventative medicine. If you get sick, our programs are designed to catch these processes early and communicate that to our physician. Ultimately, our goal is to provide early intervention to prevent something minor from becoming something major. Again, this will be based on the severity of your symptoms and your insurance coverage. We promote wellness but do not provide hospital services in home.

How will the information and progress notes be communicated to my family and PCP?

We will send a monthly report to you, your PCP, and your pre-determined responsible party that will serve as a guide to your health history and plan of care.

Yes , as deemed appropriate.
